John Landerer founded Landerer & Company in 1973. Under his leadership the firm has become prominent in the field of commerce, real estate and litigation. In addition, John Landerer has been a director and/or Chairman of many public and private companies thus combining legal knowledge and commercial reality. The dual knowledge has enabled John Landerer to become legal and commercial adviser to some of the largest companies and wealthiest individuals in the country.

John has been instrumental in causing the firm to give back to the community in numerous ways as enumerated elsewhere on our website.

John has been President of the Sydney Jewish Museum and is currently on the Board of the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children and the Garvan Foundation.

He is Chairman of the Endocrinology and Diabetes Research Foundation at the University of Sydney.

John was for 7 years Chairman of the Home Purchase Assistance Authority.
